Meet Snickers

This is Snickers. He was rescued from a shelter. His "owner" dumped him there when he was five weeks old (he wasn't even weaned yet) because he had a deformed back leg and he couldn't sell him for more money. He had sarcoptic mange and worms and was very sick. He is 8 weeks old now and a bundle of energy, tearing around the house even with his bum leg. It may have to be amputated eventually, when the vet thinks he can tolerate the surgery. Here he's conked out after wrestling with a paper towel roll.
