Meet Major Leotally

This is Major Leotally. We recently rescued him from a local shelter, in turn he has rescued us. We lost another pet this past fall, and our other dog was grieving so we decided to get her a friend. Grown dogs don't have much of a chance at shelters, as most people want a puppy. He is estimated at around 20 months old. Major immediately won us over with his laid back attitude and kindred spirit. He's so calm and giving we are considering getting him certified as a therapy dog. The vet says he is definitely part basset hound and he appears to have some bird dog or labrador in him. No matterwhat he is - he is perfect and we love him tons!
