Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner, then tear into bite size pieces.

Drizzle with a couple of teaspoons of olive oil and toss or massage to coat. Separate your dog’s portion from yours.

Sprinkle yours with a pinch of salt. Leave your dog’s portion unsalted.

Arrange leaves in a single layer on a cookie sheet or two.

Bake at 350°F until dark green and crispy (not brown or burnt), 12 to 15 minutes. Let cool and bit and enjoy with your dog!

I make all of Casey's treats in a dehydrator, and have mixed chopped kale in with ground turkey for his jerky treats, but haven't tried plain kale chips. I'm going to pick some up on our way home from work this evening! Thanks!
