Takoda

Meet Takoda

Takoda was born blind and was surrendered to a local rescue at 5 weeks old when the breeder decided she would be unable to sell him. He is now 18 months old and has never allowed his blindness to slow him down. His name means "Friend of Everyone" in the Sioux language and he has lived up to that name by never meeting a stranger - everyone is a potential friend. We live in the countryside where Takoda loves to run through the fields sniffing out mice and pheasants.
