Meet Sonny

Sonny is a sweet, loving, calm 5 yr. old standard poodle who is the "Sunshine of My Life". Poodles are known for their intelligence; desire to please, along with their wittiness. It wasn’t long after we began our training that all I had to do was say the word school and Sonny was at the door ready to go. As we progressed, it was exciting to see that we were becoming a team, and had developed a very special bond. From obedience we ventured into agility training where the tunnel, A frame and tire became Sonny’s favorite obstacles. We now train in Rally which is a form of obedience with signs and achieved our first title at the International Dog Show at McCormick Place in February 2010. We are currently working to complete our final rally title. In addition, Sonny also achieved his Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog titles. Sonny enjoys car rides, chasing squirrels, playing with his stuffed toys, but mostly enjoys hanging out with mom whether it’s around the house or a day at the shop.
