Meet Scruffy

We bought Scruffy in 2013 at an Indian night market in Bahrain, Middle East (dogs, cats, chicks and peacocks in tiny overcrowded cages). He was matted, had a fractured jaw and back injury, one foot shorter than the rest, few teeth (tongue hangs out - vet thinks he was kicked) and is about half the size for an 8-year-old dog. He fought for food all his life and will still eat cardboard and paper, if unsupervised. He is such a sweet, optimistic dog, with 2 Shitzu 'step-brothers."
