Meet Sampson

I adopted Sampson from a shelter when he was 2 years old. I drove 7 hours to a shelter in another province to see him. He had been negleted, underweight and very anxious. When I approached the kennel at the shelter he was shaking and when he looked into my eyes I just knew that he was the dog for me. He was terrified of men and any loud noices. It took some TLC but after about a year he came around and now is great with everyone. He is the best dog ever!! He is very well know in the town we live in and he is allowed in many stores because he is so handsome and well behaved. Everyone loves him and has treats for him, he just soaks up the attention. He is in training to become a therapy dog so we can visit sick patients in the hospital. He is my best friend and I can't imagine my life without him. He is a big lug and we go everwhere together. Sampson and I sit on the couch each time I get a modern dog magizine and read it together, well he just sleeps with his head on my lap but it is my favorite thing to do with him.
