Meet Parker

Q: What makes you unique? A: I'm a three-legged dog. I was abused by my old owners and lost my right hind leg when I was 3 years old. Luckily Mama and Daddy adopted me right away and gave me a good home and lots of love. Q: Favorite place to sleep? A: “On my big cozy bed at the foot of Mamaʼs bed or on the terrace when itʼs too hot inside. “ Q: Favorite toy? A: “Pingu - a crunchy, squeaky penguin that Daddy gave me for Christmas a few years ago. “ Q: What do you do during the day while your owner is at work? A: “Work? I go to work with Mama - she takes me almost everywhere with her! I'm an Assistant Dog Walker, Assistant Dog-Trainer and have recently become a Therapy Dog with the Delta Society." Q: Do you know any tricks? A: “My Mama trained me in Basic, Intermediate and Advanced, so I know lots of commands. in English, French and German. I can balance things on my head and nose (even treats!), shake both paws, speak (loud or quiet), and to look the other way when sheʼs eating human food. (No fair!)” Q: What do you really want to do? A: “Ideally, I would go EVERYWHERE with Mama, have vacations at Daddyʼs house with Buster, go to Nana & Poppaʼs house, or just hang out in the lobby of our condo so that people can pet me for hours.”
