Meet Nola
Nola is my "Golden angel" and we've found a healthy, happy relationship in training her to be my Diabetic Alert Dog. She was originally a pet, and we found an early intervention daycare to volunteer at last year. She was amazing and I knew she was meant to have a purpose beyond being an incredible companion, but to also be a lifesaving service dog. She has learned to bump me if my blood glucose levels are too high or low, and I've had the best control of diabetes in 11 years thanks to her.

- Dislikes Bully-pups on the playground, being away from people, puddles, fleas
- Foods Just about anything that's not nailed down. "Leave it" has taken a lot of practice!
- Pastimes Cuddling, being brushed and groomed, public access work in cape while she travels with me, endless games of fetch with tennis balls
