Meet Milestone

Milestone is an eight week old Coton de Tulear who is certainly living up to his name. He is my first dog EVER - here in my mid 40's as I've been terrified, phobic - of dogs (all sizes) all of my life. Last year, I met a new friend who has two Cocker Spaniels and I touched a dog for the very first time and realized it wouldn't kill me. :) Months later, I serendipitously met a breeder of Cotons and my puppy literally adopted me. Outside the womans kennel, looked at me 'deeply', pressed his ear into my chest and, I kid you not, 'asked me' to come home with me. I obliged. I named him Milestone - because it's what he's been in my life. I now can't imagine completing my life not knowing him. He is just the sweetest, mellowest being. I now understand why DOG "is what it is" spelled backwards. They bring such incredible Love and Peace.
