Meet Malik
Malik was rescued from a puppy mill in the Southern U.S. She then made her way to Kent, OH where she was vetted and spayed (August 2008). She eventually made her way to Peterborough, ON and into foster care with Loyal Rescue. Mommy and Daddy found her through Petfinder.com. Malik's new Mommy and Daddy adopted her in February 2009 and they have become a tight-knit family! Malik now lives in Toronto, ON (in the area known as The Junction). She has lots of puppy friends and is a recent graduate of obedience school! Malik ("mah-leek") is named after Malik Taylor, a member of the Hip Hop group A Tribe Called Quest (one of Daddy's favourites). Malik Taylor's nickname is "Phife Dog". Clever, non?
