Meet Lexus
Was rescued off a chain the night before a major snow storm. Was found with four broken ribs, extremely emaciated, later it would be discovered that she had severe heartworms in which we were informed that she wouldn't survive heartworm treatment. We took a leap of faith and went ahead with the heartworm treatment knowing she was a fighter. She was able to pull through and has been heartworm negative for about two months.
