Meet Kate

Kate is a Shepherd Mutt from the Toronto Humane Society. My relationship with Kate started when I saw a photo of her pathetic, emaciated body on the THS website. Kate had demodectic mange, mega esophagus, and was action-packed with behavioral issues. I fostered Kate for one year, during which time she taught me all about second chances, and that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. On our one year anniversary, I officially adopted Kate, and I am thrilled to report that she is a loving, extremely well-behaved, highly responsive, happy healthy dog.
