Meet Jacques Cousteau
Jacques Cousteau is a 13 year old papillon who I rescued this past January at the Broward County Animal Shelter. Its previous owner had turned him in to be euthanized. He has such a wonderful temperament that he is now an official therapy dog. He comforts elderly people at an assisted living facility in Hollywood, Florida and even university students at Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton during midterms. He is pictured here in his pilot Captain's uniform in the cockpit of a Boeing 737.
