Meet Dexter

Dexter is afraid to go up stairs, so he's all alone on the ground level at night. Every morning when we come downstairs, he's so excited to see us that he selects a shoe (or a glove, or whatever's available) and greets us with it in his mouth. Then he takes it to his bed. On this particular day, one shoe was for my husband, who came downstairs first & the other was for me.
