Meet Brooke

Brooke with her cat Lamour. Brooke must be one of the friendliest dogs to have lived, and seems to form an emotional attachment to just about anything that breathes.Though she's never had puppies, Brooke acts as a loving mother to one cat, and all other animals that might pass through. Even though as a puppy, Brooke was almost lost to parvo after a week long battle, Brooke remains extremely high energy and takes every opportunity to squeeze the most joy out of the day. We decided to nominate Brooke for dog of the week because on Sunday, Brooke found a 9 week old kitten, half starved and baking in the 100+ Texas heat, which she then insisted we take home. Brooke washed, shared food with, and herded the kitten back to health until she could be adopted into a perfect home.
