Meet Bodie

Photo taken at 9K for K9 Fundraiser for Bodie: Bodie is a 3-year old German Shepard who works for the Sacramento Police Department's Canine Unit. On Friday, May 18th, Bodie was shot and critically wounded while attempting to apprehend a car theft suspect. Bodie's actions saved Randy, his handler's life, and possibly the lives of anybody else who encountered the armed, fleeing criminal. The 9k for K9 fundraiser was an informal 9K (about 5.2-miles) trail run, and walk/hike at Folsom Lake in Granite Bay
