Meet August West

August is the greatest dog. he is named after a character in the grateful dead song Wharfrat, the line goes "My name is August West and i love my Pearly Baker best more than my wine" when i first got him i was in a tough spot in my life and i thought that the name August West best suit the current position in my life. In the song, August is a drunk bum, i've been homeless but never a drunk and all i've ever wanted was to do better in life, i'm always tryin' but failin'.August is 10 years old now and still just as energtic as he's always been, it's amazing, you'd never guess he was 10. i'm curious to see if August can pull off one victory for us! he's the best, unfortunatly one picture doesn't do him the justice he deserves. August is the kind of dog that should be in movies or adds he's truely one of a kind.... PLEASE VOTE FOR AUGUST...
