Meet Alfie

I met Alfie while I was volunteering at the local animal shelter and we became fast friends. My husband and I fostered Alfie through his heart worm treatment and then we adopted him within a couple of months. We were fortunate enough to have Alfie for a year and a half before he passed away due to complications from heart worm. This photo was taken last Christmas just before he passed away. We miss him very much. He was a great dog and we will never forget him.
