I was supremely delighted yesterday to receive a special package in the mail – a new winter jacket for Roxy from Canada Pooch! I’ve been on the lookout for a warm and durable coat to keep her warm yet looking chic during our weekly hikes, so imagine my delight when I stumbled upon this gem, and from a Canadian company, hooray!

This casual-yet-cool parka boasts several features we consider to be musts: easy to put on and take off (velcro strip on the underbelly), a pocket for Roxy to carry her own things, affordability (they start from just $39) and a hood to protect her sensitive ears from the constant west coast rain.

Roxy made the mistake of asking Blacke Chan what he thinks of her new coat…

He said it looks a bit snug…

Roxy should have known better than to ask fashion advice from a boy. I told her she looks phenomenal and she agrees. The puffiness simply adds a bit of bulk to her ‘athletic’ frame, it’s merely an illusion. (Hey, we’re all holding a bit of winter weight, okay!)
