Meet Penny

Penny Haines is one of the sweetest dogs we've ever met, and although she came from a not so happy home before, she is adapting fast to her new life. Over the past month, she has transformed from a nervous, timid waif of a pup, to a more confident and happy dog. During the week Penny comes to work with me, socializing with my co-workers and clients, napping in my lap, or playing under my desk. She is so quiet and well mannered that you wouldn't even know she was there unless you looked. We take long walks down San Francisco's Embarcadero, and she's becoming much more confident and curious about new things. On the weekends she loves to take long walks down the trails near our house, or come with us on car rides. She loves her new family (she is on the fence about the two incumbent cats, however), and just likes to be near one of us, trailing behind from room to room. If you leave her sight, she'll come looking for you! At night she enjoys nothing more than curling up in a little ball, and cuddling in your lap. When you look into her eyes, you see an old soul, and we are so happy to have her in our lives.
