Meet Gretzky
We wouldn't believe our luck when we rescued Gretzky (a long haired German Shepherd) and his best friend Nellie (a border collie) from a rescue centre when we were living in England. We brought them over to Nova Scotia with us when we returned to my husband's birth country in October 2008. He just loved the snow. Gretzky is super sensitive to rejection as any dog lover would know this by paying particular attention to his big brown eyes when he looks up at you
