Meet Felix

Felix is a rescue dog we recently adopted from Saskatchewan. He was found abandoned and injured at the side of the road by a nice volunteer. After being brought to an animal shelter, they thought he was hit by a car because his legs weren't working. Xrays showed that he was actually shot in the chest by a .22 bullet - which still remains in his body. After days spent recovering with a vet by his side, he was soon healed. He's such an inspiration to our family and we instantly fell in love with him. His name is Felix, meaning "happy" and "lucky" for his his happy go lucky personality and positive outlook on life - even through all of the hardships he's experienced.
