Sudsy Bubbly Dogs Support California Dog Rescue
Grab your dog, some shampoo and make some suds! The Sudsy Dog Contest, sponsored by happytails, is awarding $250 in grooming products to the sudsiest dog AND a year’s supply of grooming products to Marley’s Mutts, a dog rescue based in Tehachapi, CA.
Dog owners participate by taking a photo of their sudsy, soapy dog and posting it on facebook. The most popular sudsy dog gets $250 of all natural spa products for themselves and provides Marley’s Mutts with the shampoos and supplies to clean up their rescue dogs so they are adoption-ready. When dogs first come out of shelters, their coats are matted and dirty and often times their skin is irritated and raw. To make these dogs look their best for adoption events, rescue group volunteers must groom them. Product and a groomer’s time all cost money! A donation of grooming supplies and wellness products helps, even if just a little.
To participate go to facebook.com/HappytailsSpa, upload a photo, or vote for your favorite sudsy dog! Contest ends June 27th.
