Meet Whisper
This photo was taken of Whisper as she was reunited with her owner Alex Cole, a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton, after a seven month deployment to Afghanistan. While Irene Cole waited behind the pillar with her camera at the ready, Alex rang the doorbell and waited to see the reaction of his beloved dog. Whisper bolted out of the house, did a couple of spins, and then extended as far as her little Dachshund body would allow to shower her owner with kisses. Playfully, Alex met his dog more than half way, happy to be reunited.
