Meet Novak
This is my foster puppy, Novak. He has a medical condition called megaesophagus, which makes it so he has to eat in a propped up position. He normally has a special chair to sit in, but we didn't have it with us, so we used a waste basket. It worked very well. He also has to wear the inflatable collar because of his medical condition. He and his 7 littermates were born into the care of Hope Lives Here Animal Rescue in Red Deer, AB. All of the pups in the litter have megaesophagus.
Facts About Me
- Age 4 months (now 10 months)
- Nicknames Squirt
- Dislikes Having to sit in his special feeding chair (bailey chair) for 30 minutes after eating.
- Foods All his food is ground up into a milkshake. He only gets one kind of food, though sometimes he enjoys if a ground up sardine is added.
- Pastimes Eating, playing with his dog friends, "talking", chewing his antler.
