Meet Mia
Mia's mom was rescued from a puppy mill in New York and I adopted her when she was 4 months old. She had to have her leg amputated when she was 5 months old and has had several surgeries since then due to complications. This doesn't stop her from acting like a normal dog though and sometimes I wonder if she realizes that she only has 3 legs. Her bravery, love, and strong desire to overcome the many obstacles that she has faced in her short life has shown me the amazing spirit and will of a dog. I don't regret adopting her and couldn't imagine my life without her.
