Meet Juno

Juno is a former research beagle used in animal testing. She was rescued in July 2010 along with 119 other beagles. In the time since she became free she has learned to just be a dog. In June of 2011 she became a certified therapy dog with Therapy Dogs International. Juno spends a lot of time educating people about animal testing and the simple things we can all do to help bring about an end to cosmetics and household testing on animals. She has been called by one of the founding fathers of Best Friends Animal Society an ambassador for laboratory animals everywhere. To me she is my little smooshie girl who has learned that kisses and belly rubs rule!
