The Pets Plus Us Champion Awards are intended to recognize the amazing individuals who are working to improve the lives of pets and their owners across Canada. Each year, hundreds of Champions of pet owner happiness are nominated across 7 categories: pet owner, volunteer, shelter & rescue, community outreach, veterinary practice, veterinarian or veterinary staff member, and breeder. The nominees are then voted on and the top five with the most votes in each category move on to the finals where the top Champions are chosen by a panel of judges made up of pet health and wellness professionals.
