Meet Suki

Suki is 2 1/2 years old and weights 12 lbs, and is often mistaken for a Pomeranian, a Pomeranian cross, or another combination of breeds. She is incredibly intelligent, being able to fully understand a new trick after 1 hour of first being introduced to it. Despite her size, she's not afraid to protect me against big dogs, and has even tried to go after an Alaskan Malamute cross when it tried to bite my mom! She likes to smell the air-conditioning in the car. She's great with puppies, and never nips at them. Instead, she bumps them with her nose and lets them chase her around and cling to her ruff. She does love to rough-house though, and jumps at the chance to play-fight with other dogs. She is is just as happy sleeping in the sunshine indoors as she is going for a 2 hour run. She also has no visible tail (it was docked when she was 3 days old), but when she wags it there's the visible motion of a tiny stump wagging, and she's learned that if she wags her tail she'll get anything she wants. She's my best friend.
