Meet Velcro
Velcro is a rescue who came to live with us two years ago. We live right next door to our vet. Last spring I got an urgent SOS from the hospital. It seems that another puppy had been hit by a car and needed blood. They asked if Velcro would be the donor. As soon as I learned that my puppy was in no danger I walked her next door. They put her to sleep, took the blood and had her back to me in 90 minutes. She came home wearing a "I Gave Blood" sticker on her right, front leg.
