Meet Tulare

Tulare was found starving in a barn with horses in Tulare County, California and was rescued by Afghan Hound Rescue of Southern California and subsequently adopted by me in 2002. He came to me a terrified dog who would scream so loud when I tried to groom him that I was sure the neighbours thought I was killing him. With much love and attention two years later he was a brave boy and went down to Hollywood to audition for a Budweiser commercial they loved him and my terrified boy became a Star. He has appeared in Glamour Magazine, Oprah Magazine, NY Times Magazine and has enjoyed doing numerous other commercials and photo shoots. I am so very proud of him because he has come such a long way and is a wonderful representative for Afghan Hound Rescue. I do believe a Star never tells his age.
