Meet Spencer

Spencer or Ben-zi, as I like to call him, is the pit bull my family rescued from a shelter. He's a perfect example of how no one should judge a dog by it's breed. Ben-zi is a great family dog. He's the perfect hiking partner and babysitter when he's home. Little children can pull hard on his ears, nose, mouth, or anywhere else on him and he simply won't do anything about it except maybe give them a lick. He's very obedient and knows his commands in both English and French as well as hand signals. Who needs words anyways? He also enjoys soaring over many obstacles in agility. He is one of the most gentle dogs I know. I'm so grateful that we were able to welcome him into our family. He has certainly touched our lives and the lives of many others.
