Meet Sophie May Chin

I found Sophie May just days before she was to be sent away to a puppy mill as breed stock. She captured my heart and took over my life after just a few moments of knowing her. She has gone from an only child to one of many children, human and furry, at our home. Still, Sophie stands out as the most unique and most intelligent of the clan that I care for. As she approaches 7, Sophie has never slowed down for her puppy days. From the start she erased the stereo-type of the lazy and delicate Japanese Chin, as she hiked the most difficult of trails and traveled all over the midwest from Niagra Falls to the mountains of Tennessee. Spoiled... yes! Loved... even more than the day I met her.
