Meet Skyler

I'm Skyler a 5 year old Pit Bull that had a rough start in life. I was thrown out as a puppy because I had an eye deformity and I was lucky enough to be found by nice people and given a second chance in life. When I was little I needed several surgeries to fix my eye and now you can't tell anything was ever wrong. Since I can understand what it's like to overcome the odds and be a little unique my mom decided I would be a great therapy dog. So my mom decided to begin training me when I was very young and boy was she right! I LOVE what I do! I am now a certified therapy dog and have now been doing work in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and elementary schools for the past 4 years. I am working hard to change views of my breed by changing lives one visit at a time. "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."
