Shuki

Meet Shuki

Shuki is a quintessential herder. She lives with Benny the Cocker Spaniel who has to put up with being constantly herded around his own house. Squirrels and rabbits are great because you have to catch up to them before you can herd, and that's hard to do. Rabbits can be mean though. Sometimes they sit up on the lawn just to watch Shuki go crazy at the window. She has a rich, luxurious coat, which is just ducky when she rolls in well aged animal remains, as it holds odors in its generous layers. So baths are frequent, and she's usually gorgeous... until the next time. Shuki isn't a cuddler. She shows her devotion by following mom everywhere, and waits at the door when mom goes out without her. She's a lucky girl, though, because mom owns a dog daycare business so Shuki goes to work every day. At age 1 and a half, she gave up playing with the doggy clients, preferring to hang in the office with mom. Though socialized with dogs and people her whole life, Shuki is cautious with strangers, unless, of course they take their shoes off and have smelly feet. Then she rolls over their feet and rubs her face in their shoes with great abandon.
