Meet Sam
I chose this photo because it shows what beagles do best: howl! I am so very blessed to have gotten Sam, because I knew NOTHING of beagles when I first saw him in a shelter. It was love at first sight, and I brought him home when he was 1 year old. His howling was a shock at first, but I absolutely adore it. I think I got extra lucky when I found Sam because his howl is much lower and sing-songy than other beagles I have encountered. He should be on American Idol in my opinion :) Sam is so cuddly and exactly what I needed in my life. He is the best dog I ever had, and I will now ALWAYS adopt rescue dogs because of him.
