Meet Rufus

My husband found Doofey running down the middle of a highway with nothing but an orange piece of twine tied around his neck. He was just about to be hit by a semi truck; my husband pulled over, closed his eyes and prayed. Somehow the semi missed him and my husband coaxed him to him which took 30 minutes because he was so scared. We had just lost our Pit Bull Daisey to cancer. We weren't ready to get another dog. We contacted a rescue group who asked us to foster him, we ended up keeping him.
