Meet Ruben
- Rescued "Rayne" at 8 months from Edmonton SPCA. - VERY HAPPY DOG! - beautiful tempermant, polite and obedient (except when his hound-side takes over!) - don't know why anyone would give up this amazing guy! - changed his named to Ruben (suites him much better) - he is a silly goof sometimes! - very loyal; keeps an eye on everyone in house; does his 'rounds' every hour or so - loyal, kind, sensitive -incredibly tolerant with all other dogs - including puppies, tiny dogs who bite at him, big playful dogs etc. -was diagnosed with high grade stg IV multifocal, metastatic lymphoma a month prior to his 5th birthday - opted for chemotherapy - 6 month intensive treat with Modified Wisconsin Protocol - he's been in remission for much longer than usually quoted - he's my miracle dog - through chemo and all his life....always excited to go for an "adventure"....car ride, walk, visits to friend's homes etc. nothing seems to bring him down!

- Foods kibble, turkey roll, other healthy dog foods. LOVES healthy bones or rawhide.
- Pastimes Going to vet, pet stores, pet boarding, pet parks.....anywhere he can find other dogs, people, FUN jogs & recently up to advanced agility. Playing with his 18 month younger 'brother' - purebred beagle, barking.
