Meet Roxy

Roxy is 4 1/2 and a very loving dog!!! She still acts like a puppy with Bobby and I, however acts like our newborns guardian! We love our labrador, she has so many wonderful qualities and her strongest quality is her gentle nature with our newborn baby. As new parents we were initially skeptical about how Roxy would respond to the newborn. Although she is protective of our home, she is very very calm and loving so, when we introduced our newborn baby, Roxy was very quiet around the baby and new she was much bigger than the baby. Roxy turned out to be the best guardian over our little girl. I caught this picture one morning after Roxy slowly nudged up to the baby's side, not getting too close too fast, but just close enough and I had to capture the moment. Labs are the best dog's!!! I will always believe this!!! This shows that gentle side of her. Regards, Bobby and Maria
