Meet Reese

We rescued Reese in April 2010 and she has brought so much joy and excitement into our lives. We weren't familiar with English Bull Terriers when we saw her picture online (other than it being the Don Cherry dog) but it was love at first sight. Her personality is larger than life and true to the breed, she loves to clown around and make you smile. She lives in the moment and lives every day to the fullest, which is something that I now try to emulate every day. Unfortunately for us, Reese is all about the creature comforts and although she loves her crate and dog bed, nothing compares to a siesta in mom & dad's bed - which is exactly where I found her the afternoon I snapped this picture. She usually happily greets us when we come home but this afternoon she was nowhere to be found. I went from room to room looking for anything out of the ordinary and, sure enough, noticed that the pillows were a little crooked on our bed. Upon closer inspection, I could just make out a patch of her coat in the midst of all the pillows. It wasn't until I said her name that she poked her head out, a little dazed and confused, which gave me the perfect opportunity to snap a picture. With a face like that, it's pretty difficult to get mad at her!
