Meet Petey

Petey is a 6-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier. When he was younger he was a street dog that lived in the San Bernadino mountains in California. My father-in-law and his wife took him in and adopted him when they saw him roaming in the neighborhood without a home. He had been living in a patch of bamboo down the street. When my husband and I went to visit one year, we instantly fell in love with Petey! My husband and I both love pitty's! So his dad said we could take him home with us. We, at the time, lived in a place that had Breed Restriction Laws so we were unable to take him home. So dad said he would keep him until we had a place where we could have him. We have since moved to a little town in Nebraska and we were able to have Petey come live with us! He is quite a joy! He loves to run, jump, sleep on the couch - but he is still learning how to fetch!
