Meet Petey

Petey was foster dog that I ended up keeping as my own. He is now also a registered therapy dog because I just had to share this big guy.He is very tall, maybe part Great Dane, and he has lovely manners and enjoys getting out just about anywhere. He loves to obedience train and to search for things and to use his head. I take him with me a lot to run errands, to work, even out to eat. With his happy demeanor and spotted ears, he seems to just connect to people and in so doing, he connects me to people.Dogs truly are a bridge. Sometimes we walk down the street and perfect strangers call out "It's Petey!!" since he was named after the original Petey in Our Gang.

Nicknames My mom calls me The Stalker sometimes because when she puts me out I sit in the yard and stare at her through the window. But I just hate being away from her. She also calls me Sweetie Petey.
Dislikes The hose!!
Foods Zuke's mini salmon treats are sooo smelly and delicious! But i love about anything i can dig out of my Kong toy.
Pastimes I like to help around the house by clearing off tables with my huge, happy tail; I also LOVE to chase lizards. I caught one once and of course I brought it inside for Mom.
