Meet Perla Di Luna

Luna was adopted from a shelter. Previous owner had died, and relatives dumped her at the shelter without providing a name or age. As a puppy, she had distemper, as informed by the vet, as it left her with very bad teeth. As a result, she is very dainty eating her dry food and she really takes her time. In August, the Airedale attacked her over a food issue. She was badly bitten, and had to have major surgery at the vet's, with many stitches, and drains initially in her wounds. I called it Luna's near death experience. This was the first time ever in over three years that the Airedale did this, so now steps have been taken to separate the small dogs from him when unsupervised. Luna is the sweetest, easiest dog in the world.
