Meet Oakley
After the loss of our 17-year old dog, we began looking for a dog in need- preferably an older, female heeler mix. Then along came Oakley. A local rescue organization reached out to us saying he needed a new home NOW. Like, "in the next three days." We hadn't had a puppy in over seventeen years- gulp! And now we were in our mid-60's ourselves! We certainly found The Fountain of Youth when we adopted this young whippersnapper.
