Meet Nova

Nova did not come to me so easily. She was a rescue, brought in from the California streets to Seattle. She spent 9 months in the shelter because she is wary of people. When I first met her she just stared at me from across the room, daring me to come close. I left a sock for her kennel and a few days later visited again with the same luck. Eventually they dropped her at my apartment and she hopped on the couch with me hours later. She is a sweetheart and a clown, my little shadow.
