Meet Nikos
After having a rough start in his first home and being returned to his breeder at 10 months of age, Nikos came to live with me. For the first 48 hours, I couldn't touch him- he would growl and walk off. I felt awful. "My adoptive pup doesn't like me!" (which was not the case at all). So, I gave him his space and let him interact when he felt comfortable and hide behind the sofa when he didn't. On day 3, he got in the bed with me. And there's been nothing but love between us since.
