Meet Misty

Misty is a very active Border Collie. I really like this picture because I took it myself of the cliffs near where i live, but it looks as if it were taken on bluescreen. Misty is very intelligent, knowing at least 50 tricks, including crawl across the floor, play dead and many others. I'm training her in agility, and she can already jump things much taller than myself. She was born on a farm, her parents were working sheepdogs. Misty then came home with us, where she tries to herd our cats. She is very lovable, and can sense your mood. When you're happy, she plays with you, when you're sad, her ears droop and she comes up and gives you kisses and hugs. She loves her *walkies* and is very well behaved, so she doesn't need to go on the lead most of the time. She loves the beach especially. She will run and run forever, even if she was drop-dead exhausted, she would keep running - what a sheepdog is bred to do so they can work long hours on a farm. Of course, we don't have a farm so she needs 2-3 long walks per day. On the rare occasion that my mum lets her on my bed, she will happily snuggle under the covers while i hug her, and she'll snore! I like watching her sleep, because when she dreams, she lies on her side and her legs start running in mid-air. It's hilarious to watch! She's the most lovable, kindest, most active, best dog anyone could wish for!
