Meet Mischa

Mischa is 7 pounds of non-stop energy and enthusiam. This adorable little 2-yr-old was turned into a rural animal shelter as a stray. She had already lost the use of her back due to an untreated broken back. But don't tell Mischa she's any different from her canine sisters. She scoots around on her bottom, even going downstairs, as fast as any little four legged dog. She also uses a doggie wheelchair. It took several months of acupuncture to get her back loosened up enough to be confortable in her wheelchair. But now she gets excited whenever it's time to "go for a walk" and likes to be at the head of the pack. Mischa loves beef jerky, belly rubs and snuggling in bed for a long afternoon nap. She's a happy affectionate girl who doesn't let her disability stop her for a minute.
