Meet Minnie

How does one describe Minnie? She is a pocket Merlin with mischief in the making each waking hour. Her large doe eyes and quizzical expressions melt our hearts. Minnie wasn't happy about being dressed up as an Elf for Christmas. She tore off her hat and ran with it (she's fast!) with me in hot pursuit. As "mom's" often do, I got my way as I dressed her again hat and all. The photos taken that day were as cute as can be but for some reason this one remains my favorite. By the time this picture was taken at the end of Christmas Day our "elf" was tired and hat and costume were left on, too tired to battle it out with "mom" anymore. Within moments of this last shot our "elf" was sound asleep looking more like an angel than an elf. She is a joy in our lives and has filled it with a light hearted sweet innocence that comes from a purity of heart that dogs seem to posess in abundance. .
